Professional Photographers of San Antonio is a non-profit organization that was established in 1968.  PPSA is a group of photographers working together to improve their businesses by increasing knowledge and skills.  Educational programs, print competitions, and fellowship assists the members to accomplish their vision.  

As a chapter guild of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the purpose of the Professional Photographers of San Antonio is to improve the knowledge and skills of enthusiast, student, aspiring, and professional photographers in an open and friendly environment, while providing education and fellowship to elevate the profession as a whole.  PPSA also supports the Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA), with events and conventions held in the State of Texas.

PPSA holds regular meetings and schedules special events throughout the year, bringing in talents of local, national, and internationally renowned photographers.

PPSA members and the Board of Directors give freely of their time and experience to educate aspiring photographers in San Antonio and South Texas.
