 PPSA's July Highlights

Vernon Wentz, PPSA Presideent
presents PPA Merit to
Cindy Cofer the July speaker

PPSA welcomed Cindy Cofer all the way from Williamstown, Kentucky to speak at their July guild meeting. She was sponsored by Virtual Backgrounds out of San Marcos and Dr. Henry Oles himself came to make the introduction. Cindy spoke like a true Kentuckian and felt right at home with all of us Texans and the way we talk down here y'all. Anyway,Cindy shared how wonderful the Scene Machine has been for her business since she never has to worry about the weather. She will always have the perfect background when her 4-5 acre grounds surrounding her beautiful 2 story historical building/studio are covered in snow, raining or 100 degrees outside.  Yes, it gets hot in Kentucky.

Cindy shared how she took up photography when her four children were small and became instant models for her. She realized soon in the game the importance of learning and became a member of here state organization KPPA and PPA and studied the websites of people like Monte Zucker to learn how to be a better photographer. Today she is a beta tester for Lucis Art which is her favorite plug in for turning images into works of "art". She also uses Lumpix.com touted by David Zeiser for collages and templates. Pro Show Gold Producer keeps her organized in the presentation of images to her cllients who basically get a CD to view at home to chose their images. Cindy has weathered the transition of going from film to digital and must make her grown kids and now grandkids proud that she still has such a thriving successful business in a little one street town in Kentucky where people come from miles around to have a beautiful portrait made by Cindy Cofer Creations. Thanks to Virtual Backgrounds and Cindy for coming to PPS
A.
