Membership Categories

	Professional Photographers of San Antonio Membership Catagories, Condensed from the Membership Articles IV, 4.3

Professional - Voting Member
A fulltime Professional Photographer shall include individuals with a minimum of (2) years working experience as a fulltime professional photographer or employed as a photographer for one (1) year.

Member must also meet these requirements:

· Must be available for assignment during a normal week.

· Derive a major portion of their earned income from photography.

· Provide a copy of DBA, Inc Charter and/or Texas sales use permit .

· Hold current PPA membership and provide copy of current membership card.

· Abide by any local or state codes and/or restrictions.

· Subject to the PPSA "Code of Business Ethics", enforced by "Board of Directors"

· Submittal of eight (8) 8x10 prints representative of his/her style of work, un-mounted and un-framed, exempt if a M.Photog. or CPP. -
$75.00 per year

Associate -Voting Member
An Associate member is an owner, partner or staff member, either full-time or part-time, of an organization whose first member is a Professional Active Member. Associate members include individuals preparing for a career in professional photography working as part-time or employed outside of the industry.

Member must also meet these requirements:

· Name of Active Member and Studio name, if applicable.

· Abide by any local or state codes and/or restrictions.

· Subject to the PPSA "Code of Business Ethics", enforced by "Board of Directors".
$75.00 per year

Aspiring - Non-Voting Member
An aspiring member is interested in photography as an art or learning about photography as a career. Individual is not currently a full-time professional photographer or artist and wishes to join the guild for educational purposes and to build associations with other working members.

Member must also meet these requirements:

· Abide by any local or state codes and/or restrictions.

· Subject to the PPSA "Code of Business Ethics", enforced by "Board of Directors".

· Subject to approval by the "Board of Directors".
$75.00 per year

Student - Non-Voting Member
An individual currently active in taking photography courses as a school, university or college. Membership status meets the same requirements as an aspiring member with exception to attending school and this position allows for student rates when available.

Member must also meet these requirements:

· Copy of valid student photo ID.

· Abide by any local or state codes and/or restrictions.

· Subject to the PPSA "Code of Business Ethics", enforced by "Board of Directors".

· Subject to approval by the "Board of Directors".
$35.00 per year

Service - Non-Voting Member
A service member is a company representative of such who supplies services, products or trade to the photographic industry.
$75.00 per year
